Arunachal CM to discuss border issue with Gogoi

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu will hold talks with his Assam counterpart Tarun Gogoi shortly to resolve the boundary dispute between the two States, government spokesman Tako Dabi said.“However, no dates for this has been finalised yet,” Dabi, also the Water Resources Development Minister said.Sincere joint efforts in this direction would boost the socio-economic development of both the States, he said.

A one-man committee has been constituted to look into alleged irregularities in appointments and expenditure incurred by the department of Health and Family Welfare, he said.The State Cabinet, he said, has decided to appoint almost all the ruling Congress legislators as parliamentary secretries and an ordinance has already been promulgated to this effect.
