Lucknow’s Tanmay has been rewarded Rs 10 lakh. Anamika impressed the jury members and the viewers through
her power-pack performances, and got the highest votes. After winning the competition, Anamika said, “I am very
happy that I fulfilled my parents' dreams. They always wishes and prayed
that I win this competition.” Anamika told that she will really miss her loving friends,
adorable judges, the sets of Zee and the people who helped her to become
winner of this grand show. Recapping the unforgettable moments, Anamika said,
"The biggest compliment came from Sonu Nigam when he said that I could
be a very good play back singer. I will cherish this all my life". Anamika said that this great show SRGMP has prepared her
to be a better singer. Anamika stated, "The vocal and diction exercises have
really improved my singing". While talking about the different famous persons who made
it to the show, the excited L'il Champ said, "Ajayji, Kajolji, Aamirji,
all were very nice. They encouraged me to sing well and move ahead in the
competition". First and foremost, Anamika wants to visit her temple back
in Assam. "I want to go there as soon as I reach home, as
without God's blessings, I would not have won. Then I will go and meet my
relatives and friends", she said. While commenting on the culmination of the well known and
unique children’s talent competition across the globe, Tarun Mehra,
Business Head, Zee TV said, “This season of Li'l Champs was different from
the various other reality shows trying to showcase talent on TV. Both our
esteemed judges, Sonu Niigam and Suresh Wadkar, tutored the kids to an
extent that will hold them in good stead all their lives. Also never once
did they disagree publicly on the show/format/performance. It gives me great
pleasure announcing Anamika as the winner since he/she truly was the most
versatile of the group.” “With the culmination of this season's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa,
the channel intends to take a break from the format and bring in something
new and refreshing for its audiences. We are ushering an entirely new show
called Airtel Rock N Roll Family where three generations of a family shall
come together on a single platform to compete for India's first Rock 'N'
Roll family. Again this is first in its category and we are hoping that
people will accept it the way they have been doing Sa Re Ga Ma Pa,” Mr.
Tarun added. If winning the Zee TV Li’l Champ crown was sensational
for Anamika, the homecoming has been very sweet. From the time, She has set
foot on the soil of Assam, beautiful accolodes, deep love and gratitude as
well as shower of gifts and money is flowing in for the Little Champ. Recently, Anamika came to Guwahati for the first time
after winning the crown. Her first visit was to the Guwahati Press Club.
While facing a virtual barrage of mediapersons and cameras, the young
singing sensation didn’t lose her self for even a moment. Outwardly she
looked a bit haggard and tired but that didn’t stop her from showing her
exciment with the appreciative media and even belting out a few favourite
numbers as demanded. “I
won’t sit on my laurels. I have a long way to go…lot of hardwork to put
in.” “Singing is my life. But my education has to continue. It is so
vital.” “Yes, I will keep my word. If my hometown is proud of me, I am
also very proud and deeply in love with Mariani. So my dream remains of
setting up a music academy in Mariani. I will make it to materialise,” she
said. Apart from the hit number, ‘Maiyya, Maiyya’ for which Anamika has
been famous, she also sang the number ‘tera mujhse tha pahele ka nata koi
and devoted it to the people of the State. Flanked by her parents, the girl
with the toothy smile couldn’t stop thanking everyone again and again for
her success as the cameras kept on clicking and flashing in a mad frenzy. It
was the turn of Assam Chief Minister next to felicitate her in a public
ceremony with a cash award of Rs. One lakh. Tarun Gogoi said that it was one
of his proudest moment of his life to falicitate the tender girl who has
made Assam and the region so proud. Later on the same stage Anamika sang a
number of Assamese, Hindi and Bihu numbers for the people. Anamika
