invited to invest in Sikkim
Sikkim
Govenment has invited the Asian Devlopment Bank to invest in
infrastructure in the State.
ADB Director General Robert Destany, who called on Sikkim Chief Minister
Pawan Kumar Chamling here Thursday, was apprised of the prioritisation of
the infrastructure sector in the last 12 years of SDF rule and the
incentives being given by the State Government to entrepreneurs willing to
invest in this sector.
The
Chief Minister also said with its sound law and order and peace, Sikkim
could be an ideal State for investment.
He also highlighted the State’s potential in tourism, industry, power,
agriculture, floriculture and horticulture during the discussions.
Destany expressed
satisfaction over the Chief Minister’s investment offer and promised to
extend all cooperation in the State Government’s infrastructure building
efforts.
