Police recovered the decomposed body of an official of Food Corporation of India (FCI) who went missing since November 1. The decomposed body of Pranjal Kumar Medhi, working as manager in the regional office of FCI here was found in a ditch near Tallang Hira memorial here this afternoon after extensive search, Papum Pare SP Hibu Tamang said. Police has registered a case and launched investigation, he said. Medhi, a resident of Lutuma in Guwahati, was supposed to go to his hometown on the fateful day.
