BJP hits at Ibobi

BJP’S Northeast Secretary V Satish is gunning for the Ibobi government.  The ruling Secular Progressive Front (SPF) Government had failed on all fronts to restore peace and this has resulted in the state passing through a period of  turmoil, he said addressing a "mahila conference", in Imphal. Satish said the women of Manipur would have to play a big role in solving the multiplicity of problems plaguing the State, adding only the women of the State could ensure a proper administration in Manipur. Lambasting the Congress for charging the BJP with creating defection and trying to create instability among the parties in the states, He alleged that it was the Congress, which had been resorting to unwanted ways to gain power. Satish criticised the ruling SPF Government, led by Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh, for not assuring that the Central fund reached the poorest of the poor in Manipur. "Not a single pie reaches the people because of misuse and diversion of Central funds into other channels," he asserted and said Manipur was lagging behind because want of a transparent and sincere Government. Only the women of the State could play a vital role in reviving the situation, he averred.
