60-member state Assembly from the existing seven to ten and the seat meant for the general category would be reduced from 33 to 30. The reserved seats for the tribals would remain 20. The last delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly
constituencies was held in the state in 1974-75.The number of parliamentary constituencies in the state would also remain unchanged in the process though areas falling under the two parliamentary constituencies would be readjusted.
