Yangon's response awaited on troops incursion India said that it has taken up with Myanmar's leadership the issue of incursion into Indian territory by Myanmarese army and a response from Yangon was awaited "When the top most leader of Myanmar had visited India last year, we raised the issue and he assured us to look into it," Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil told reporters here responding to a question about reports of repeated incursion by Myanmarese army into Mizoram in recent times. Myanmarese authorities in this regard detailing about the incidents of
intrusion into Chhamphai area and requesting action. He, however, said "the
infiltration by Myanmarese Army was not aggressive in nature." |
