Sumi Hoho condemns former policemen who joined NSCN (IM) Sumi Hoho, the apex traditional body of the Sumi tribe of Nagaland, has condemned the three Nagaland Armed Police (NAP) personnel who joined the NSCN (IM) on January 26. President and the General Secretary of Sumi Hoho expressed shock over the 'deceitful act' of the NAP personnel, who deserted their jobs and joined the NSCN (IM) with their service arms. The Hoho also appealed to
the NSCN (IM) leadership to exercise utmost sincerity at the time when the
peace talks were on.They further suggested making an amendment to the
ceasefire ground rules in such a manner that no surrender with arms from
either side could be accepted during the truce period. |
