Gogoi denies rift with APCC chief

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi denied any rift with Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Bhubaneshwar Kalita. Chief Minister blamed the media for spreading wrong information. ''There is delay in the constitution of the new APCC but that is
not because of the rift between me and PCC chief Bhuabaneshwar Kalita. The delay is because the AICC is taking its own time,'' said Mr Gogoi.

Mr. Kalita, who was also present, said there was no difference of opinion with Mr Gogoi and ''both of us share the best of relation''.The media has been insisting that Mr Gogoi and Mr Kalita were not in the best of terms because of which the APCC body was not being constituted.' This is a figment of imagination. I have never given any list neither am I bothered about it. All ministers and MLAs are special invitees,'' Mr Gogoi said, which was supported by Mr Kalita.
