The BJP in Nagaland ridiculed the allegations of the Congress over the reported statement of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio that the DAN Government was “Advani’s Government”. BJP leader and State Home Minister Dr T. M. Lotha said that the Congress was trying to mislead the people by distorting the reality. Dr Lotha said that the “Chief Minister has every right to say that the DAN Government was Advani’s Government and Mr Advani is also a member of the BJP which is the second largest partner in the DAN conglomeration”.

Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on July 11 had stated in a public function that Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani would be visiting the State and had made a statement that DAN Government was Advani’s Government.
