A H Scott Lyngdoh has retained Finance and Reorganisation and was stripped of his Law department. Law department has been given to O. N. Chyrmang besides his Elections, Stamps and Registration. H B Dan has been given additional charge of Parliamentary Affairs besides his PWD (Buildings).

J D Rymbai who was looking after Parliamentary Affairs, has retained Agriculture (excluding Horticulture) and Irrigation. Dr Mukul Sangma will look after only his earlier portfolio of Taxation. His Information and Publication Relations portfolio has been given to Kyrmen Susngi in addition to his Sericulture and Weaving.

S. S. Lyngdoh will look after Soil Conservation only and lost his Secretariat Administration. Singh Mulieh has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretariat Administration besides his Science and Technology. D.  P. Iangjuh has been entrusted only General Administration losing his Public Health Engineering portfolios. B.  B. Nongsiej will assist Chief Minister in Excise matters.
