Arunachal Congress key men leave party

Arunachal Congress president Doye and vice president Karu Hansang have resigned from the primary membership of the party.

In a letter to party chairman Gegong Apang, both the leaders said they had served the party for more than two years under his leadership. They claimed to make sincere efforts to strengthen the party led by Mr. Apang with dedication and not for any post. But as the party had failed to protect the interests of the people of the State, they had no other alternative but to resign from the party, the leaders said.

They informed that they will work in the forthcoming parliamentary elections for a party which would safeguard the interests of the people of the State.
