The Army authorities have expressed their gratitude to the people of the North-East for standing firmly behind the soldiers participating in the Kargil operation. The Army also thanked those who volunteered to donate blood and made monetary contributions to the soldiers and their families who were either killed or injured in the ongoing conflict.
