40,000 LPG connections for Tripura The Union Government has declared Tripura as 'wait list free state' and ordered to provide LPG connections to 40,000 applications before June 1999. According to secretary, department of Food, Tripura, B.K. Chakraborty, the State goverment has requested the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) authorities to make provision for new connections.
