Student leaders from entire Naga-inhabited areas of the region, human rights and women activists, social workers, tribal Hohos were unanimous in their opinion that it was high time to evolve a consensus to resolve all the vexed issues including the political one, so that Naga society can enter the next millennium with new hopes and aspirations.
The convention, which deliberated on issues such as Naga political problem, unification of Naga inhabited areas, cultural resurgence, economic revival among others, called upon both overground and underground leaders to put their heads together for early settlement of the Naga political problem with deep introspection and exchange of views on the issues.
