| NSCN (K) flays Ceasefire Monitoring Group's action The National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Khaplang) has flayed the Ceasefire Monitoring Group's recent decision to upgrade the peace zones by identifying additional zones. In a press release NSCN (K) secretary Kughalu Mulatonmu described the move to upgrade the peace camps as 'anti-NSCN inviting legitimate action'. The so-called peace camps or zones could not exist within the controlled areas of the NSCN and this illegitimate invention by the Ceasefire Monitoring Group and the Issak group would have no survival, he said. The NSCN also informed P. D. Shenoy, additional secretary, in the Union Home Ministry to investigate the ongoing climax thoroughly than randomly sketching policies which would only be a dragnet and intensify further disastrous damnation. It further said when there was no political talk between the Centre and the NSCN, any organisation should not force the NSCN to spell out offensive as a befitting score. |
