Major bureaucatic changes effected in Nagaland In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Nagaland, the State Government has ordered the transfer and posting of 14 officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Nagaland Civil Services (NCS) ranks with immediate effect. Official sources said H. A. Hetovi Sema, IAS, Additional Secretary of Health, has been posted as Additional Secretary of Rural Development. Paolal Hangsing (IAS), Resident Commissioner of Nagaland House in Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary of School Education. C. M. Chang, NCS, Additional Secretary has been retained on promotion as the Secretary of Youth Resources. Tovili Sema, NCS, Additional Secretary has also been retained on promotion as the Secretary of Labour and Employment. R. S. Acharya, NCS, Joint Secretary has been retained on promotion as Additional Secretary of Industries and Commerce. N. Kivito Sema, NCS, Joint Secretary is retained on promotion as Additional Secretary of Higher and Technical Education, Wizard, NCS, Director of Administrative Training College, is retained on promotion in the same post L Temsuwati, NCS, Director of State Lotteries, is retained in the same post on cadre promotion to higher selection grade. Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner C. B. Sonari is retained in the same post in cadre promotion to higher selection grade. B. Thawang Konyak, NCS, Director of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Mon in transferred and on promotion and posted as Joint Secretary of Industries. L. T. Konyak, NCS, Joint Secretary Tourism is transferred and posted as project director of DRDA, Mon. Tsumongo Lotha, NCS, of Personal and Administrative Reforms is promoted as Joint Secretary of Home. Rose Jamir, NCS, Deputy Secretary of Rural Development is transferred and posted as Deputy Resident Commissioner, New Delhi and D. K. Borthakur, Nagaland Secretariat Service (NSS). Deputy Secretary Home is transferred and posted as the Deputy Secretary, Social Security Department. |
